AML / KYC notice
Last updated: 1 May 2026.
ABC LLC takes financial crime seriously. Although the heavy lifting on customer due diligence is performed by our regulated banking partners — Bridge (bridge.xyz) and Hifi (hifi.com) — this notice describes our own controls so you know what to expect.
What we do
- Risk-based onboarding. At signup we collect light-touch identifiers (date of birth, country, employment, intended use) and run them through a risk scorer. Higher-risk patterns trigger enhanced review before the first transaction.
- Bank-side KYC / KYB. When you initiate your first transfer, our banking partner asks for government ID, proof of address, and (for businesses) ownership documents. We see status; the partner sees the documents.
- Sanctions screening. Customers and counterparties are screened against OFAC, EU, UK, and UN consolidated lists at onboarding and periodically thereafter, via our banking partners.
- Transaction monitoring. Outbound transfers run through rule-based and model-based checks for unusual velocity, geography, structuring, and counterparty risk. Anomalies pause the transfer for human review.
- Suspicious activity reporting. Where required by law, we and our banking partners file SARs / STRs with the appropriate FIU. We may not disclose to you that a report has been filed.
- Record retention. KYC, transaction, and SAR records are retained for 7 years (or longer where local law requires) after account closure.
What we expect of you
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Update us promptly if your circumstances change (new address, beneficial-owner change for businesses, change of country of residence).
- Respond to information requests within reasonable timeframes — failing to do so may pause or close your account.
- Use the platform only for the purposes you declared during onboarding. Significant changes in usage pattern may trigger additional review.
Prohibited activity
We will not service transactions related to: sanctioned persons or jurisdictions, weapons proliferation, terrorist financing, child sexual abuse material, ransomware payments, illegal drugs, unlicensed gambling, or other categories where service would violate applicable law or our banking partners' policies.
Your data and our partners
Information collected for KYC / AML purposes is shared with our banking partners and identity-verification providers as necessary. See our Privacy Policy.
